Great Falls, Virginia
We went to Great Falls today with Nana and Gramps. Rebecca had a wonderful time even though she didn’t get a nap. It was also my first time to successfully take a panorama!

We rode our bikes into Quiet Waters tonight with Rebecca in tow in the trailer. She had a blast, but I think it tired all of us out!
Last Friday I mentioned this new (to me) lens that I picked up for free from Annapolis Freecycle. Well I still need to order the parts I need to convert it to fit my current bodies, but given how clean the glass is, I can hardly wait to try it on my camera! This lens is incredibly heavy, weighs almost as much as my camera does!
A simple black and white of Rebecca today, now that she’s feeling better!
Rebecca had a blast with her fort again today! Seems to be her favorite new toy.
A self portrait!
We are members of the Annapolis Freecycle group and on Friday Jen got me an old Canon FL 55mm f/1.2 that was “broken”. I could not believe how heavy it was! The only thing on it broken was the filter threads and the aperture adjustment ring due to missing screws. I replaced the screws and now it works perfectly! The next step now is to change the mount so that I can use it on my 40D. I’ll keep you posted on this little project.
Also, changes will be coming soon to this website, so stay tuned!
Mommy built Rebecca a fort today. She really liked playing and reading in it!
We had a great time at the Baysox game tonight! Rebecca enjoyed watching the action and even cheered! I would love to say that this shot was skill, but the truth is, it was pure luck. It was pretty dark at this point so I couldn’t completely stop the action, but still, I’m happy with it!
