I didn’t get a photo today that I was happy with, so I altered this photograph I took in the fall. I took it at a feeder I had outside from front window. The original wasn’t actually very good, but i think it turned out alright with the conversion.
Well, it may not be the best picture in the world, but I couldn’t resist it for the rhyming. The dog is sleeping on the frog! She seems to find the frog very comfortable. For those who don’t know her, she is Ginger, a nearly 2 year old mystery mutt. She’s not perfect, but she’s getting there…slowly. Anyway, enjoy the pic of the day!
Rebecca loves to watch mommy making dinner in the kitchen. She has this stool that she sits on so that she can see and absolutely loves it. So, here is the picture of the day!
We took Grandma, Pappy, Uncle Derek and Aunt Abby into Washington DC today. It was a lot of fun but totally exhausting for Rebecca! Since DC is full of amazing architecture, it gave me an opportunity to shoot some buildings, both inside and out. While I could just tell you what building this picture is from, I want to see if anyone can guess which building I took the picture of the day in.
Rebecca is thrilled to have Grandma and Pappy in town this weekend! They worked hard to build this tower!
Here’s a shot of our last fish tank. Not a very exciting tank, but fits the bill for shot of the day.
Today’s entry is a sky shot from my front yard. It features Orion’s Belt along with some trees. Unfortunately, it also features a large amount of light pollution, a downside of living in a city. The exposure was 13 seconds, but that was more than enough to show all the stray light emanating from street lights, cars and anything else shining in the area.
Here are my next two entries for the project. The first is of our piano. It is an old player piano that no longer plays on its own.
The second photo is from earlier this month. It’s a shot of the USS Torsk, of which I know nothing about other than it is docked next to the National Aquarium.
On a sad note, this will be the last set of photos brought to you by Photoshop. My trial runs out today and the older version that I have will not run on this computer. So now I need to find some freeware, probably Gimp.
