Well I still need to order the parts I need to convert it to fit my current bodies, but given how clean the glass is, I can hardly wait to try it on my camera! This lens is incredibly heavy, weighs almost as much as my camera does!

We are members of the Annapolis Freecycle group and on Friday Jen got me an old Canon FL 55mm f/1.2 that was “broken”. I could not believe how heavy it was! The only thing on it broken was the filter threads and the aperture adjustment ring due to missing screws. I replaced the screws and now it works perfectly! The next step now is to change the mount so that I can use it on my 40D. I’ll keep you posted on this little project.
